Don't buy Watches from Amazon Feb 07, 2008 Bought three of these for Christmas presents for my sons. All three had dead batteries and one is totally broken. Having the batteries replaced by a jewler will cost about $30 each. Never again will I buy a product such as this from Amazon.

Unreliable watchJan 04, 2007 I got this watch expecting it to be reliable. Within a month it intermittently stops, even with a new battery. Junk, like most watches I have tried. Get a Casio, instead, or make your own pocket watch (see Klockit). It seems that no matter how much you pay for a watch, they all use the same junk innards. Of the 20 or so watches I have had in the past 6 years, only the Casio and my self-made pocket watch keep good time. All of the others fail upon battery replacement, or sooner. At least this watch was under $100. Lasted as long as the $4.95 Wal-mart watch.

Timex LED Watch ReviewMay 05, 2006 My wife bought this LED watch for me for Christmas '05 because she knows I like anything that has to do with flashlights. I actually wear this watch when I ride my mountain bike around town at night and use the one-minute flash when crossing streets. I also wear it on the family farm when feeding the animals at night. The watch is a little more bulky than I expected - compared to the Swiss Army version, it's much thicker. I don't use the detachable feature at all - I guess it may come in handy one day but it hasn't so far. The light, of course, is not very bright unless there are no other lights around, but it does serve it's purpose for me: I'm able to see to unlock gates at the farm, and it makes me more visable when riding/walking/running at night. It's not worth $100 - we paid $60.
