timex expedition watchSep 04, 2009
great watch, it actually had date & time already set...all I had to do was strap it on.....I agree with other reviews, it does seem heavy at first--I dont prefer the leather strap----either it is too tight or too loose--- if I get it put on a velcro strap, it will be perfect for me. I like the idea of an old fashioned dial with numbers instead of the digital readout watches.....

I just got this watch a couple of days ago and like it. The perpetual calendar works great as it just switched from April 30 to May 1 without me having to do anything. It came set for eastern time (which is right for me) out of the box. It is a little heavier than my other Expedition watch, but nothing that you don't get used to. My only complaint is the little magnifier over the date on the right side. Instead of making it easier to see the date, you have to be looking directly down into it in order to see the number. The other funny thing is that the indiglo just lights up the inner circle, not the whole face. Otherwise, I think it looks sharp. Perfect for business casual, at least in my opinion.

I had this watch before and it broke. I was so happy to find a replacement. It is just what I wanted and could not find in the store. Great Bargin also.

The first 2-weeks with the watch were unremarkable. Then, just as I was coming to terms with its bulkiness, the dial light stopped working. Later the same day I noticed that it was running slow. After resetting it, the second hand didn't resume when I pushed in the stem. Then I printed out the Amazon return shipping labels.
The one really great thing about the watch is that it stopped running before the Amazon's return deadline. Perhaps I should give it 2 stars.

Nice look works for casual or work. Not too bulky; feels balanced on wrist. Leather band exceeded my expectations. Indigo night light not as bright as other watches but is sufficient. Great value especially with perpetual calendar.
