problemsJan 25, 2010 In resetting the compass to neutral (on the second day) , I pulled out the center dial as instructed and it came out completely. The compass is very crude and OK for rough directions.

Compass is not reliable.May 16, 2009 Good watch, but the compass cannot be relied upon, not even after calibrating in the area you want to use it...

Beautiful watch!!!Oct 15, 2008 It's a great watch with a great price!!! i cannot find any watch with compass for less than this.
I got the titanium one which is much lighter. Also the grey and black face make it look smaller.
There are only a few very minor things:
1. the watch a little too thick
2. i got the resin wrist band, which is quite thick to my taste. may have to change it later because it sticks to my skin quite easily and i live in hot tropical weather.
3. the whole display is a little too busy. Too much unnecessary information. There are a lot of compass things (you can see from the picture), but i don't think it's necessary to read beyond S, N, W, and E. it's not a GPS.
4. sometimes, with the compass arm, it's difficult to read the time.
5. a bit too noisy

Poor Company, Poor Customer ServiceJul 27, 2008 Purchased and paid for an offering from an amazon vendor. The product was allegedly in stock and shipping ready. After recceiving emails from amazon indicating the product had shipped.......nothing. After more than a month waiting with no communication from the vendor or amazon, I called the vendor and was told, they don't have that product. Ooooops, I guess, call me stupid one for believing this crap. They allegedly refunded my money. I doubt I'll ever use amazon again as a result of this vendors poor service.

Nice ToyAug 22, 2007 I ordered this watch based solely on the description and product photo. Compared to descriptions of other compass watches, I guessed it would be a more reasonably sized watch than one with an altimeter (one reviewer described as very thick). I was very pleased when I opened the box - for a sport watch it was appealing. However, I did have a couple issues that disappointed me. First was the stem coming completely out of the watch and falling on the floor when the little elastic stop (prevents running the battery down before delivery) was removed. I reinserted the stem - turned a couple times - it stayed in and functioned to set the watch, date and compass. I can only assume the water resistant capabilities have not been compromised. Second - calibrating the compass is a chore (to say the least). I finally got it to read somewhat near correct (+/- 30 degrees or so) by starting the calibration process and turning myself in a circle (twice). Overall: keeps time, easy to read at night, and the compass is a nice toy that only provides relative direction.
