It amazes me when people read more into 'descriptions' than meets the eye. I saw no where that said this watch comes with a thermometer. And who would care/want one? Indiglo, accurate Timex quality, and I love the compass. Great buy, unless Sam's is cheaper.

This watch was described as having a thermometer and compass. When it arrived, it did not have a thermometer. An email to Timex revealed that this model does not come with both. I returned the watch and will never trust the product description on Amazon again.

I am frequently in the woods and use a compass. This watch is what I wanted as it precludes me carrying around a compass anymore. The watch is easy to read and seems to be fairly accurate. It is somewhat thick so check that out. Thus far I am happy with it. I found a Timex velcro wrist band at Target which allows me to wear the watch as tight or loose as I wish. Seems to be a good product.
